Staking pools

When people (individuals, tens, hundreds, thousands, millions of people) come together in a community, they can form a pool and be rewarded together. ROD's unique staking model is built around pools (staking structures). A pool/structure is a community that has pooled their balances in ROD tokens to receive staking rewards. Pools can range from 01 to 99. Smart contract allows any user to:

  • Create a pool (there should be 100,000 ROD or more on the balance). After the pool is created, 100 000 tokens are permanently deducted from the address and become unavailable, including they do not participate in the balance of the structure and, accordingly, in staking.

  • Joining any other pools. After joining a pool, the tokens remain on your wallet, and you are the only one authorized to dispose of them.

Anyone can create a staking pool. Pool Creators:

Set the name of the pool in the Latin alphabet. For example, the pool can be called "DOSTATOK" or anything else. It is impossible to change the name after the pool is created.

Set a unique prefix for the addresses of the structure. For example, the addresses can start with "dst" and look like this: dst1qqqqumpt2jchfa63qc0jxztud75x89ya49h58sw34hdls8kl3a60cl4qmrf.

It is not possible to change the prefix once the pool has been created.

Integrate a 150x150 pixel logo (maximum size - 300 Kbytes, JPG or PNG format). If desired, the logo can be changed in the future.

A description of the pool in Latin alphabet (up to 35 characters with spaces). The description can be changed in the future if desired.

Add a URL leading to the pool's website.

Have the ability to create technical wallets without staking withdrawal restrictions. Technical wallets, for example, with the help of which up to 5% per month of the staking pool amount is generated for the development of the pool, do not have monthly withdrawal limits like regular user wallets. Thus, organizers can withdraw any amount from the balance of technical wallets for development at any time.

Pool organizers can dynamically change the settings at any time to always provide up-to-date conditions for participants and, together with other pools, make maximum efforts to develop the network.

Pools are created using the technical MASTER wallet and are available to any user directly in the UMI web wallet.

Pools are managed through a master wallet (a wallet with the address used to create the structure). Pool organizers can at any time:

  • Change the logo;

  • Change the URL of the site;

  • Edit the pool description;

  • Adjust the pool's reward rate (1-5%);

  • Assign a new dividend address (Profit Wallet);

  • Activate a new transit address (Transit Wallet);

  • Deactivate a transit address (Transit Wallet).

Thus, each pool can have 3 types of unique wallets:

  • Master Wallet

  • Dividend Wallet (Profit Wallet)

  • Transit Wallet

Pool organizers have the opportunity for unique customization that they can use in conjunction with individual promotion methods. This creates a competitive environment for pools that ultimately make a common effort to develop the entire network. This is a crucial point for ROD because only in competitiveness, not monopoly, are true relationships and progress born.
