Staking

Staking has proven to be an effective way to build a strong community. In the ROD, staking has simple rules to reduce the rate of inflation on the one hand and be competitive on the other.

ROD staking is implemented on a smart contract using advanced solutions to create a balanced and thoughtful tokenomics without high inflation. It offers high interest rewards to encourage audiences to participate and incentivize new participants to join the ROD ecosystem. But the disincentive mechanisms are designed to offset the likelihood of too many tokens being injected into the market, ensuring that the value of the ROD token is high and growing.

ROD staking is implemented in 10 stages to reduce inflation. At each new stage, the staking percentage is increased by 1%. The staking percentage depends on the number of tokens in the staking pool (not the total issuance). Thus, participants in a particular pool have an interest in developing it and constantly increasing the number of tokens in the staking pool to increase the overall reward.

In addition to rewards for users, ROD staking generates an additional 5% to ROD pools for development (from the amount of staking in a particular pool), 3% per month to the ROD team for the development of the ROD token and metaverse (from the total amount of staking of all pools) and 2% to the UMI team for network maintenance (from the total amount of staking of all pools). Schematically it looks like this:

The result is complete balance, harmony and equality: 10% goes to users and 10% (5%+3%+2%) to all development teams involved in maintaining, improving, developing and popularizing ROD. Thus:

1. The Smart Contract generates up to 10% per month of ROD token users' personal staking wallet balances. All interest is credited to ROD staking participants.

2. The smart contract additionally generates to the development team of a particular pool 5% per month of all tokens involved in staking pool. The tokens are sent to the team's addresses and are used for pool maintenance and development. Tokens are used to maintain pool developers, nodes, servers, website, Telegram bots, Telegram channels, YouTube, social networks, coders, marketers, advertisers, designers, copywriters, payment of winnings, harvests, referral bonuses, gifts (iPhones, macbooks, cars, apartments, houses), forums, birthdays, travel, status badges, promotions, raffles and lotteries.

3. The smart contract additionally generates the ROD token development team 3% per month of all tokens involved in staking. The tokens are sent to the team's addresses and are used to maintain the ROD token developers, nodes, servers, website, Telegram channels, YouTube, social media, coders, marketers, advertisers, designers, copywriters. All these tokens go towards the overall development of the token, which includes technical development and active marketing.

4. The smart contract additionally generates to the UMI blockchain development team 2% per month of all tokens involved in staking. The tokens are sent to the team's addresses and are used to maintain and develop the UMI blockchain and the infrastructure around it, payments to specialists (programmers, designers, copywriters, marketers, and so on).

Once the total issuance reaches ROD 21 trillion, the staking will stop.
